About the Opportunity
Link Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join their team as a Specialist Equipment Sales Engineer. This exciting opportunity will see you working with a variety of clients across the engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and preferences, ensuring the provision of tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, trials, and presentations to showcase the benefits of specialist equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies, targets, and key performance indicators.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the specialist equipment sector, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A strong understanding of the engineering, construction, pharmaceutical, and oil and gas sectors, with knowledge of the products and services required by these industries.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
