About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EC&I Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Delkia. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical control and instrumentation systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control and instrumentation systems, including conceptual designs, optioneering studies, and user requirements specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with client specifications, engineering standards, and local domain policy and procedures.
  • Assist in the production of technical documents, including plans, drawings, and supporting calculations.
  • Participate in design and system level reviews to ensure that subsequent design meets project and client requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of data and information received from clients.
  • Ensure effective project delivery to time and cost.
  • Support and mentor apprentices and graduates as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Good working knowledge of EC&I design software, such as Autocad Electrical or E-Plan P8.
  • Relevant education or experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Ability to obtain or hold suitable security clearance and be a British National.
  • Conversant with the Office 365 suite of software.
  • Plant process knowledge and experience.
  • Knowledge of one or more of a variety of PES technologies, such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, SQL Server, Modicon M, or MIS/HLS.
