Experienced Florists Wanted for Hotel Contracts Team

We are seeking skilled florists to join our hotel contracts team at New Covent Garden Market. As a florist, you will work on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends, to provide exceptional customer service to hotel guests and walk-in customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist hotel guests and walk-in customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Prepare flowers, create hand-tied bouquets and arrangements, and maintain a clean and tidy shop area
  • Assist the floral team with event installations and ensure adequate quality and levels of stock are maintained
  • Process customer payments using the POS system and complete checks relating to flowers, vases, and accessories
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required to support the team

Requirements:

You will be a reliable and organized individual with a minimum of one year's floristry and shop experience.

  • Excellent communication skills and a well-presented appearance
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, building relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Availability to work during peak periods, including Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Christmas
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and undertake some manual lifting
