Senior ADAS Engineer Opportunity in Shropshire

We are working with a leading business in Shropshire to recruit a Senior ADAS Engineer to join their Centre of Excellence. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to pioneering advancements in the UK and European markets, working in a state-of-the-art facility in a small team of 10.

The hiring manager is looking for someone with previous ADAS & Robotics Engineering experience, well-versed in ROS2, Linux, and NVIDIA platforms. Sponsorship cannot be offered for this vacancy, and the hiring manager requires the successful candidate to be office-based for the majority of the working week, with some hybrid/remote working opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Guidance Control Unit, driving forward autonomous developments.
  • Define and align software architecture across various layers of ADAS, including Vision, Perception, and Actuation.
  • Maintain base system software and manage dependencies across global partners and suppliers.
  • Verify and validate module-level software releases, ensuring excellence in software integration and build.
  • Lead Guidance Software release and change management processes.
  • Supervise and mentor a junior engineer, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous ADAS & Robotics Engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ROS2, Linux, and NVIDIA platforms.
  • Ability to work in a small team and contribute to pioneering advancements.
  • Office-based for the majority of the working week, with some hybrid/remote working opportunities available.
