**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Linguistics Academic to join our team at the University of Cambridge. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced researcher in Sociolinguistics to contribute to our vibrant academic community.

**About the Role**

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a distinctive intellectual programme in Linguistics and the Language Sciences at the Master's and PhD levels. They will also contribute to undergraduate teaching, small group supervision, and the administration of our activities.

**Key Requirements**

  • A strong record of excellence in research commensurate with their career stage
  • Relevant teaching experience and a PhD in a relevant field by the start date
  • An active engagement in research, teaching, and outreach in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics

**Salary and Benefits**

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including family-friendly policies and a supportive work environment.
