Loss Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Advisor to join our team at HomeSense. As a Loss Prevention Advisor, you will play a critical role in protecting our customers, associates, and assets from loss and theft.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and analyze incidents of loss and theft to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with store teams to educate and train associates on loss prevention best practices and protocols.
- Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement and other external partners to ensure effective conflict resolution and loss awareness.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of vulnerability and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement loss prevention strategies and initiatives.
- Experience in dealing with shrink and crime resolution in a fast-paced retail security environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with associates, customers, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and accountability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. business, criminology) preferred.
