About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team in Fakenham. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with learning disabilities to gain greater independence and improve their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing social and emotional support to individuals in their homes and local communities.
  • Supporting residents with their personal care, including personal hygiene needs if required.
  • Assisting with shopping and budgeting tasks.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with friends and family of our residents.
  • Performing household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
  • Accompanying individuals on outings, such as walks, meals, and other activities.

Requirements:

  • A calm and caring individual with a positive outlook.
  • Empathy, excellent communication skills, and sensitivity to the needs of others.
  • Computer literacy and a valid driving license (desirable but not essential).
