About the Team

We are a high-performing team within the NMC's Investigations department, dedicated to providing legal advice and support to the NMC. Our team is made up of experienced lawyers and legal professionals who work together to deliver high-quality legal services to our stakeholders.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Investigations Solicitor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for advising on complex fitness to practise cases, providing high-quality legal advice to senior stakeholders, and ensuring that a high-quality service is delivered to meet our statutory objectives.

The ideal candidate will have significant casework experience, preferably at a senior level, and excellent communication skills to engage with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for contributing to the development of our positive culture and supporting the delivery of our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on complex fitness to practise cases
  • Provide high-quality legal advice to senior stakeholders
  • Ensure a high-quality service is delivered to meet our statutory objectives
  • Contribute to the development of our positive culture

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
