Product Assurance Specialist

Join the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) as a Product Assurance Specialist and contribute to the development of cutting-edge research and innovation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services.

About the Role

The Product Assurance Specialist will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. This will involve gathering and recording data, conducting audits, and participating in internal and external project review meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathering and recording data on materials, processes, parts, and EEE components used by projects
  • Ensuring conformance control actions and record-keeping are conducted promptly and effectively
  • Supporting incoming and outgoing inspections of parts and equipment and auditing or inspecting suppliers
  • Participating in internal and external project review meetings and communicating information to the project team and customers
  • Preparing End Item Data Packages that describe and accompany project deliverables
  • Conducting audits on projects and groups in the department for compliance with internal and external requirements
Requirements
  • Achieved or be on course to achieve a minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant field of study
  • Have the right to live and work in the UK at the time of starting employment
  • Good written communication skills
  • Good oral communication skills
  • Strong capability in analysing and solving problems
  • Strong capability in analysing and communicating data
  • Evidence of thoroughness and attention to detail
