About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Mechnic and Fleet Specialist to join our team at New Resource Group. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of vehicles in line with legislative standards and company policies.

You will attend depots and customer sites to perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs, determining the necessary tools and equipment to complete each task.

You will also support all sites with maintenance of the fleet's condition to the highest standard, considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate course of action.

Additionally, you will diagnose faults or malfunctions of fleet vehicles using engine diagnostic equipment, analyze information to evaluate results, and maintain accurate records of work activities.

Key Features:

  1. Attending depots and customer sites to carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  2. Supporting all sites with maintenance of the condition of the fleet to the highest standard.
  3. Protecting Company vehicle/equipment provided by keeping it clean, serviced, and reporting any defects that may develop.
  4. Diagnosing faults or malfunctions of fleet, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerised test equipment and calibration devices.
  5. Analysing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems estimating sizes, distances, and quantities, or determining time, costs, resources, or materials needed to perform a work activity.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience as a mechanic or transportation maintenance specialist.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to analyze information and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
