Social Impact Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Value Manager to join our team at Signet Recruitment and Retention. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social value strategy that aligns with our organisation's overall CSR and ESG objectives.
Your primary focus will be on delivering positive community impact while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to enhance our offerings to new clients and build strong relationships with local communities, government agencies, and business partners.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and execute social value strategy in collaboration with operations team and stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with organisation's CSR and ESG objectives
- Establish measurable goals for performance and monitor progress
- Work with sales and marketing to enhance offerings to new clients
- Build relationships with local communities, government agencies, clients, and business partners
- Attend events with clients and act as company social value champion
- Track, measure, and report on impact of initiatives using recognised frameworks (e.g. SORI, National TOMs)
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation
- Lead on training and raising awareness of social value across organisation and external partners
- Experience working in social value, community engagement, and CSR
- Familiarity with social value frameworks
- Ideal experience in social housing, but construction, public sector, or FM considered
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for social value and community development
- Full UK driving licence
