Warehouse Returns Operative Role

KPI Recruiting is seeking a skilled Warehouse Returns Operative to join our team in Crawley. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth return of vehicles to our depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Debriefing returning vehicles and conducting thorough inspections for damages and safety issues
  • Communicating with drivers regarding daily runs and addressing any issues that may arise
  • Reporting defects and managing Vehicle Operation Records (VORs)
  • Downloading camera footage and tacho graph machine data
  • Liaising with our vehicle management unit, subcontractors, and drivers
Requirements:
  • Good understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and make decisions in the absence of the Depot Manager
  • Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel
