Operations Manager

Lime Search & Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day activities of the Administration and Paraplanning teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the Administration and Paraplanning teams, ensuring smooth and efficient running of the office on a daily basis.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Lead the recruitment and onboarding process, conducting performance reviews and appraisals in line with company objectives.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with advisors throughout the advice process, supporting the production of portfolio and fund analysis reports for advisor/client meetings.
- Product Research: Research Pensions, Protection, Savings, and Investment products, completing the relevant due diligence.
- Platform Management: Use platforms and liaise with product providers to obtain information about existing and potential investments.
- Compliance: Assist the compliance officer to ensure compliance standards are met throughout the financial services department.
- Project Work: Support the directors with project work in relation to improvements in business operations.
- Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in business systems and processes, operational efficiency, and team development.
We are seeking a candidate with management experience from the Financial Services industry, ideally from within an Independent Financial Advisory sector. You will have a good understanding of the Financial Advice sales process, business submission process, and the commissions and fee payment process. Knowledge of Intelligent Office and/or experience with systems migrations/upgrades is advantageous. A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is beneficial.
A competitive salary is offered with this 1-year fixed-term contract position, with a good bonus to be paid at the end of the contract, with the possibility of it being extended or made permanent.
