Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Renewi. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a small team of site-based engineers and driving a safety-first mentality to ensure total plant reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of maintenance engineers to ensure efficient and effective planned and reactive maintenance
- Liaise with site management to ensure issues are communicated, priorities and actions are understood, and updates are provided to the team
- Assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and work orders
- Drive solutions to prevent reoccurrence of maintenance issues and improve plant reliability
- Collaborate with the Lifecycle Team Manager to ensure mechanical and electrical plant upgrades are completed on time and effectively
Requirements:
- Electrically and mechanically trained with time served experience working in a production environment
- Diploma or HNC/HND/C+G Electrical Engineering, HNC/HND/C+G Mechanical Engineering (or industry equivalent)
- Born leader with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
- High energy and positive attitude
- Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance
- Experience working within the waste industry or other process-based industries
- Ability to multitask
