Senior Utility Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Utility Infrastructure Manager to join our team at Carmichael UK in Northamptonshire.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our utility construction projects, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate utility infrastructure projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget.
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective project plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Collaborate with designers, statutory undertakers, and construction teams to ensure seamless delivery of utility designs and connections.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including supply chain partners and regulatory bodies.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and opportunities through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of best practice, promoting innovation, equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the organization.
- Degree-level qualification in project management, commercial management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in delivering utility projects, with a strong understanding of Statutory Undertakers regulations and industry standards.
- Strong knowledge of New Road Street Works Act, HAUC, HS2 Act, and relevant utility regulations.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle.
- Mandatory CSCS requirement (one of the following): Black, White, White/Yellow, Yellow, or Red Experienced.
