Electrical Maintenance Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our BMS servicing division. The successful candidate will work with new and existing clients and contractors throughout the specified areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for making backups of software and strategy files as required for all sites visited under a service agreement.
  • Responsible for taking electrical LAN maps of site architecture (if applicable) for all sites visited under a service.
  • Responsible for attending callouts and breakdowns as and when required, according to company SLA's.
  • Carry out conditional site surveys as required and produce fully detailed reports complete with recommendations.
  • Responsible for commissioning various DDC control systems (Trend, Cylon, Siemens and Tridium) and completing wiring and commissioning schedules, updating control panel drawings and the description of operation in the commissioning file.
  • Responsible for creating software, wiring & commissioning schedules and O&M documentation complete with description of operation.
Person Specification / Qualifications:
  • Technical expertise on multiple BMS/HVAC products (trend, tridium, schneider, siemens, ALC).
  • Knowledge of Niagara based systems.
  • Ability to correctly interpret and alter existing control strategy in BMS systems.
  • Customer Service Skills – ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Please note, interviews for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role will take place on a first come, first served basis. Expert knowledge of BMS install is a critical part of the criteria and any applications without this will not be considered.
