About the JobJoin our team of dedicated professionals as a SEND Tutor and play a vital role in transforming the lives of vulnerable learners in Manchester.
Job DescriptionAs a SEND Tutor, you will work with young people who require support with their educational and social-emotional journey. This may involve developing individualised learning plans, delivering tailored tuition sessions, and monitoring student progress.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborate with our SEN/SEND Support Team to ensure successful placements
- Keep detailed records of student progress and contribute to regular reporting
- Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status/QTS/QTLS)
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience
- Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other Additional Educational Needs
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
- TWO PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
