About the Job

As a Project Manager at P.P. O'Connor, you will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering projects across the North West, ensuring timely and successful delivery while maintaining high standards of safety, health, environmental, and quality performance.

Responsibilities
  1. Programme management: Manage programmes of work to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  2. Safety and quality: Maintain high standards of safety, health, environmental, and quality performance.
  3. Project coordination: Oversee a range of projects including earthworks, soil stabilisation, site remediation, highways, drainage, and utility infrastructure.
  4. Resource management: Manage and coordinate direct resources, subcontractors, and designers.
  5. Procurement: Handle procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractors.
  6. Technical support: Support technical queries and manage engineers effectively.
  7. Contract delivery: Deliver projects under various contracts, including NEC and JCT Design & Build.
  8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with civil engineering specifications.
  9. Travel: Regular travel to project sites in the North West.

Requirements
  • HND or degree in engineering or a related field.
