Senior Accountant Job Description

Our client, a reputable Accountancy firm based in Chorley, is seeking a skilled and confident Senior Accountant to join their team. This exciting opportunity offers a full-time position with a range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients, providing hands-on support and guidance.
  • Prepare and submit statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  • Develop and submit management accounts.
  • Prepare and submit business and personal tax returns for a diverse range of clients.
  • Offer expert advice on various matters, demonstrating confidence and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an Accountancy Practice.
  • ACCA/ACA qualified or QBE.
  • Excellent communication skills, essential for client-facing interactions.
  • Strong working knowledge of cloud software.
  • Suitable for someone looking to progress and take on a portfolio of clients, handling all aspects of client needs.
Benefits:
  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 - 17:00.
  • Competitive salary range: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
  • 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
