Job Title: HGV Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our team at Bulkhaul Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing and safety inspections, as well as diagnostics and repairs across our vehicle and trailer fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out safety inspections, servicing, and repair on our expanding fleet of vehicles and trailers.
  • Perform diagnostics on tractors and trailers.
  • Conduct thorough MOT preparations in line with our excellent pass record.
  • Carry out roadside repairs.
  • Road test vehicles when required.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and repair (or equivalent).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Class 1 HGV Licence (desired but not essential).
  • Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and light fabrication.
What We Offer:
  • 20 days holiday per annum plus all statutory bank holidays paid at a higher rate.
  • Weekend call out (on rotation) retainer of £60 per weekend plus 5 hours minimum pay.
  • Boots and overalls supplied by Bulkhaul.
