Job Title: Commis Chef

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our team at WSH Group. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the preparation and presentation of our dishes, working closely with our head and sous chefs to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all food items assigned to your station and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all food handled, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues as needed.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working as a Commis Chef or a real passion for food.
  • Cooking Techniques: Knowledge of some cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Food Safety: Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, strong communication and teamwork abilities.
