About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Data Management Consultant to join our team at Capco. As a Data Management Consultant, you will be responsible for helping our clients become data-driven organisations by developing and implementing data management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data management frameworks, including data management policies, standards, processes, and operating procedures.
  • Elicit and manage data requirements for large and complex transformations and translate them into pragmatic solutions.
  • Pioneer the adoption of data management practices for key client business processes, digital transformations, and analytics & reporting.
  • Manage mixed Capco and client teams to catalogue business and technical metadata, define associated taxonomies and domains, and facilitate data governance.
  • Document data lineage, including the generation of technical and business data lineage using automated data lineage tooling.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in Data Management and/or Data Analytics.
  • Deep and extensive understanding of Data Strategy, Data Management, and Data Analytics principles, and one or more of several common Data Management methodologies and capability models.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing new data management capabilities, or driving improvements to existing capabilities.
  • Extensive experience managing small teams to deliver data management processes and toolsets.
  • Hands-on experience in industry-standard data management tooling, or in implementing bespoke data management solutions.
