Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer Analogue IC Design to join our team at Semtech Corporation. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of bringing automotive products through the NPI development process from definition to production release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take the technical lead role on significant chip developments.
  • Make key architectural decisions and ensure involvement of relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver new and innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Collaborate with the wider engineering team to ensure product success.
  • Support and mentor more junior engineers.
  • Set the standard for communicating work in a clear and professional manner to the design team.

Requirements:

  • 16+ years of relevant industry experience in Analogue IC design.
  • Deep and intuitive understanding of CMOS analogue circuit design practice.
  • Evidence of innovation in previous work.
  • Previous experience as the technical lead on chip developments.
  • Experience of automotive development process and Functional Safety.
  • RF (10GHz +) analogue circuit design experience.
  • Expert user of Cadence tools (IC6) and Calibre.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
