Ballymore Facilities Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned Master Estates Manager to oversee the facilities at our Brentford and Hayes developments in Hounslow.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of £60,000. You will be responsible for managing two large developments, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day facilities and critical infrastructure. As a key member of our estates team, you will work closely with contractors, consultants, and service partners to maintain high standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the management of hard services and critical infrastructure across both sites, adhering to centrally defined systems and frameworks.
  • Coordinate the local management and auditing of infrastructure, including fire and security systems, water hygiene, vertical transport, utilities, and critical plant.
  • Maintain visibility of local infrastructure status, escalate issues promptly, and ensure clear reporting to the central Facilities department and Property Director.
  • Provide expert advice and support to the estate management team on facilities-related matters.
  • Assist in the mobilisation, delivery, and coordination of project works on site.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level 6 in Facilities Management, Building Services, Estate Management, or a related discipline.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., BIFM, CIBSE, RICS, or IOSH).
  • NEBOSH or IOSH accredited qualification in Health & Safety.
  • Engineering background with expertise in M&E, Critical Infrastructure, Contract Management, and PPMs.
  • Detailed experience in CAFM and compliance software.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in facilities or estate management.
  • Solid experience in managing external suppliers, contractors, and consultants covering hard services.
  • Familiarity with facilities documentation, including O&M manuals, drawings, engineer reports, compliance certificates, and PPM planners.
  • Experience working in project environments and handover of new schemes.
