Head Chef for Thai Kitchen

We are seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead our Thai kitchen with a new flavour at our exclusive Boutique Crazy Bear Hotel in Beaconsfield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the consistent preparation and presentation of high-quality Thai dishes.
  • Develop and innovate menus that reflect authentic Thai flavours while catering to the tastes of our guests.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen, adhering to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Monitor food costs and inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimising waste.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients.
  • Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff.
Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a Thai restaurant or high-end establishment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team.
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • High standards of cleanliness and familiarity with food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
