Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment Administrator

About the Role

This role is critical in shaping the De Beers Group Safety and Sustainable Development approach, driving delivery, and monitoring performance. As a Health, Safety and Environment Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing the De Beers Group Safety, Health and Environmental requirements, planning, implementing, monitoring, and reviewing protective and preventative measures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the implementation of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) process within the business, working with the local team to select the correct risk assessment tool.
  2. Provide front-line technical support for IsoMetrix queries raised by users across various business units.
  3. Capture and maintain data and records within IsoMetrix, including the SHE training matrix and objectives and targets.
  4. Report on corporate governance requirements, including monthly SHE metrics, status of actions, and external submission of compliance data.
  5. Perform administrative functions, such as procurement and issue of eye test vouchers, processing of invoices, and identification of training providers and scheduling of training.
  6. Provide administrative functions in operational management system data capture (IsoMetrix) and monitoring of incident reports and applicable action plans.
  7. Be trained to Site Administrator level in IsoMetrix (AA Project Sentinel version).
  8. Have advanced learning from incidents training.
  9. Be working towards or completion of De Beers Risk Practitioners course.
  10. Have a good working knowledge of conventional computer software packages and ability to learn bespoke packages used by the department.
  11. Able to oversee several projects at once.
  12. Have a high standard of numeracy and writing skills.
