About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the Rail sector. As a key member of our project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our rail projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contract administration, risk management, and negotiation to deliver agreed profitability and cash projections.
  • Support project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Capture and share knowledge across projects to enhance our culture of innovation.
  • Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts and protect the position of the company.
  • Report to Commercial Manager/Project Director and other stakeholders on subcontract status.
  • Assist senior staff in pricing variations and support the Commercial and Contract Managers with monthly project cost reports and progress reports.
Requirements
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of post-graduate experience in a similar role.
  • Previous NEC contract experience (NEC3 or NEC4 option C).
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor on building and/or civils projects (desirable).
