We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to children with complex needs in a mainstream school setting.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of patience, understanding, and empathy. The successful candidate will be working with children who have a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to children with complex needs
- Assist with lesson planning and implementation
- Monitor and record student progress
- Use effective behavior management strategies to support students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or level 3 qualification in a relevant field
- Experience working with children with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
We offer a competitive daily rate of £83-£90, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working with children with complex needs and to develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
