About the Role

The NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to appoint a Senior Occupational Therapist to provide specialist rehabilitation intervention for patients on Ward 3 and the Neuro Rehab Centre. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Occupational Therapy assessments and develop individualised treatment programmes.
  • Manage a defined area of the service, working independently and supervising students and staff.
  • Provide specialist advice to healthcare professionals and contribute to the development of service protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and evidence-based audit and research projects.

About the Team

The Neuro Rehabilitation Centre is a 14-bedded unit providing specialist therapy to patients following neurological trauma, injury, or illness. The team is committed to delivering excellent care and supporting patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration (or to be completed within the next 6 months).
  • Evidence of post-graduate experience in core clinical areas, with a minimum of 1 year.
  • Experience of student/staff supervision and involvement in quality improvement activities.
