Radar Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our team at Technical Futures. As a key member of our Senior Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the system design of our radar systems, including specifying the hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and digital signal processing algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop radar systems with industry expertise in radar systems design or satellite communication systems design
  • Contribute to analysis and modelling of radar signal processing algorithms and waveforms
  • Take ownership of the system design of the radar, including specifying the hardware architecture, RF performance characteristics, waveform design, and digital signal processing algorithms
  • Collaborate with the Senior Engineering Team to develop and implement new radar designs

Requirements:

  • Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics Degree
  • Industry experience of radar system design or satellite communication system design
  • Strong mathematical and analysis skills
  • Familiarity with the radar equation and its influence on radar architecture, waveform design, and signal processing methods
  • Knowledge of multi-function radar design and/or phased-array antenna design
  • An appreciation of real-world radio effects
  • Proficiency in Matlab or Mathcad
