Charity Audit Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client work, primarily statutory audits, with opportunities for due diligence, VAT, internal audit, and training assignments.
  • Adhere to the firm's policies and procedures to achieve high standards and deliver exceptional client service.
  • Provide effective supervision and training to trainee accountants on audit work.
  • Work autonomously for clients, presenting completed audit files for manager review, including management letters.
Requirements

We seek an experienced auditor with a passion for staying in practice, although not necessarily with not-for-profit sector experience. We're happy to share our expertise and train you on charity audit challenges if you'd like to build a specialism. You'll have accounts preparation experience, including incomplete records, and at least two years' audit assignment experience. We value individuals with excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with non-financial stakeholders.
