Upland Conservation Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Ranger to join our team in the beautiful West Lakes area. As a key member of our Ranger team, you will be responsible for delivering conservation and access management projects in the upland areas of the West Lakes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver conservation and access management projects in the upland areas of the West Lakes
- Work closely with the Upland Area Ranger and other team members to develop and implement conservation and access management plans
- Conduct surveys and assessments to identify areas of conservation and access management need
- Develop and implement practical conservation and access management solutions
- Work with volunteers and other stakeholders to deliver conservation and access management projects
Requirements:
- Practical experience in land, conservation and access management to level 2 or 6 months vocational experience
- Ability to work outside in all weathers and deliver tasks when the weather conditions aren't ideal
- Comfortable working in a flexible and adaptable way
- Ability to work alone or under direction, and as part of a team
- Positive with an approachable attitude
- Happy and willing to learn new things
