The Role:Supporting Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to support children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) in getting to and from educational settings. As a Passenger Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring these young people have the opportunity to learn, have fun, and make new friends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with SEN in getting to and from educational settings
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to thrive
- Work collaboratively with educational staff to ensure seamless support
- Develop strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
Requirements:
- No formal qualifications required, just a natural rapport with children and young people
- Awareness and understanding of special educational needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
What We Offer:
- Full training and support to develop your skills and knowledge
- A permanent, term time only contract with varying hours
- A competitive salary range of £20,812 - £21,133 pro-rata, per annum
