**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and wellbeing of our students with complex medical and behavioural challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and senior LSAs to implement individualized support plans and strategies to promote student learning and achievement.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring to students, focusing on building their confidence, self-esteem, and academic skills.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of behaviour management strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes social inclusion.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to share best practices and develop new strategies to support student learning and wellbeing.

**Requirements**

  • Experience of working with or caring for children in a group setting of relevant school age.
  • Level 2 English and maths, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of and commitment to safeguarding principles and practices.
