Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement processes throughout the business, focusing on a safer and more efficient workflow. You will work closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering to improve manufacturing outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing, improving, and streamlining design and manufacturing processes to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Providing feedback to the Design Engineering team to improve existing or new product assembly processes, prioritizing safety, risk mitigation, and quality.
  • Developing and introducing core business processes as required, including training production team members in areas such as basic hydraulic awareness, tooling use, and assembly build standards.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in engineering (mechanical bias) or proven experience in an engineering function.
  • An understanding of engineering management systems, including Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Familiarity with DFMEA, PFMEA, and DFM principles.

The successful candidate can expect:

  • A competitive salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
