Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our team at Involve Recruitment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by producing high-quality tools and ensuring their proper functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize hand tools and machinery to fabricate, grind, mill, and assemble various tools.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop tooling solutions.
• Maintain and repair existing tools as needed.
• Operate Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Possess knowledge of plastics injection moulding processes.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Experience in tooling, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
• Knowledge of plastics injection moulding techniques is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and precision skills.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7am - 4pm

Friday: 7am - 3:30pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected Hours: 37.5 per week
