About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide non-medical care and support to clients, including personal care, medication reminders, and assistance with daily living tasks.
- Assist clients with meal preparation, toilet and continence care, and help with keeping active.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
Requirements:
- Experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
- Basic knowledge of care and support principles, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
