About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Loss Adjuster to join our Major and Complex Loss team at Adjusting Appointments Limited. As a Senior Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and reporting on complex claims, working closely with insurers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely resolution of claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and report on complex claims, including site visits to assess damage and loss
  • Work closely with insurers, local authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely resolution of claims
  • Manage relationships with repair contractors and ensure effective communication of assessment and reporting of settlement options
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of building construction, building regulations, and approved structural repair methods
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in loss adjusting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Surveyor (MRICS, MCIOB, or similar) with a background in insurance or building reinstatement
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in building construction and building regulations
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge and experience with approved structural repair methods, cost valuation, and regulatory requirements
  • Computer literate with MS Office suite and ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Willingness to travel for site investigations, with occasional overnight stays
