The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing high-quality learning programs in SEN, as well as undertaking various program leadership, tutorial, and administrative duties.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver and assess learning programs in SEN, ensuring high-quality outcomes for students
  • Undertake program leadership, tutorial, and administrative duties to support the delivery of learning programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning

Requirements

  • Qualified to honours degree level (Level 6) or qualified to the industry-recognised standard in a relevant field
  • Hold a post-16 teaching qualification and English and maths qualifications at level 2, or be willing to achieve these within an agreed timeframe
  • Proven track record of professional/vocational expertise in the SEN sector
  • Strong background in working with learners with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to self-manage workload, meet deadlines, and work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required
