Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team at Morrison Construction in Glasgow. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the construction process from start to finish.


About You



  • You have a strong background in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors.
  • You possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • You have experience working within the construction industry, specifically on design and build projects.
  • You have a good understanding of JCT and NEC Conditions of Contract.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

About the Role


In this role, you will be responsible for:



  • Analysing tender allowances and preparing valuations.
  • Measuring and valuing works, including interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Administering and advising on main contract and subcontract conditions.
  • Managing subcontract payments, variations, and final accounts.
  • Preparing cost-to-complete estimates and cash flow forecasts.
  • Providing standard reports and internal valuations.
