KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a skilled Mobile IT Technician to join our team. This role involves providing expert technical support and repairs for a wide range of devices.
Job Summary:
- Provide hands-on and remote technical support for clients, including device repair and diagnostics, software support, and client communication.
- Travel frequently to client sites to resolve IT issues.
- Maintain accurate records of diagnostics, repairs, and client communications.
Responsibilities:
Device Repair & DiagnosticsHandle issues across Apple and non-Apple devices, including screen replacement, boot issues, liquid damage cleanup, and software reinstallation.
Software SupportManage tasks such as Windows 11 upgrades, data migration, and resolving software-related problems.
Client SupportOffer on-site and remote troubleshooting, ensuring efficient resolution of IT issues.
Electronics RepairProvide repairs for a broad range of devices, including amplifiers, game consoles, projectors, printers, and televisions.
Expertise Required- Proven experience in IT support, with hands-on technical expertise in repairing Apple and Windows-based systems.
- Familiarity with repairing brands such as Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Huawei, Lenovo, Microsoft, Sony, and Toshiba.
- Solid understanding of diagnostics, component-level repairs, soldering, and charging socket replacement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction.
- Full UK driving license and readiness to travel (mileage reimbursed at 45p/mile).
