About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Meadowcroft, a specialist day school for boys and girls aged 5-19. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering the school curriculum in a way that maximizes pupils' achievement and ability to develop.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake the normal responsibilities of a class teacher, including teaching across both key stages.
  • Attend teacher meetings as required and undertake duties delegated by the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Contribute to the establishment, maintenance, and development of a calm and safe learning environment.
  • Provide and promote the emotional well-being of each individual pupil.
Class Teacher Responsibilities
  • Carry out the duties of a general class teacher, including some provision for cover of absent teachers.
  • Be responsible for teaching across both key stages.
