Key Responsibilities:

  • Department Management: Oversee the anaesthetic department, ensuring effective management of resources and compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
  • Patient Care: Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality pre, peri, and post-operative care, prioritizing patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Clinical Standards and Team Collaboration: Ensure that nursing care adheres to high clinical standards, fostering a collaborative environment among team members.
  • Professional Accountability: Adhere to the NMC or HCPC Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining professional integrity and accountability.
  • Qualifications: Hold ILS or ALS qualification, be registered with NMC or HCPC, and possess relevant experience in anaesthetic roles.
