About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a skilled Psychiatrist to join our client's team in Mackay, Queensland. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of mental health services in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in general adult psychiatry
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with mental health conditions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
  • Contribute to the development of mental health services and policies
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
Requirements
  • FRANZCP or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in general adult psychiatry and leadership in multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to relocate to Mackay, Queensland
