Mechanical Engineer - Lifting Equipment Job in Bristol

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to fill the role of Lifting Equipment Specialist in the Bristol area. This is a permanent position with opportunities for growth and development.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, testing and re-testing ground support equipment including tools, jigs, fixtures, lifting and manipulating equipment. They will also perform visual inspections of customer equipment and record any damaged or missing parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on lifting equipment.
  • Test and re-test equipment after maintenance.
  • Perform visual inspections of customer equipment.
  • Record damaged or missing parts.
  • Adhere to company quality systems.
  • Deliver high-quality services to customers.
  • Collaborate with managers and supervisors.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Travel to UK RAF bases every other week.

Requirements:

  • Experience in lifting equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £43,000 per annum.

  • Company Pension contribution of 4% gross and employee contribution of 5% gross (4% net).

Estimated Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
