Teaching Assistant Role in Warwickshire

We are working closely with an OFSTED rated Good school in Warwickshire to appoint a dedicated and reliable teaching assistant on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate must have experience working with children and the ability to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working flexibly and confidently with children with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs as well as those with wide-ranging SEND.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to ensure an inclusive and positive learning environment.
  • Running interventions and activities with small groups or on a 1:1 and providing feedback to the class teacher.
  • Supporting the class in whole-class activities.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Maths and English GCSE.
  • Have relevant experience working with children.
  • Have previous experience working in a school as a teaching assistant or support staff.
  • Have experience with children with SEND.
  • Be a strong communicator and be confident within the school.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding protocols.
