EKC Group is seeking to appoint supply lecturers to their approved staffing list. To respond to demand from the community and employers, we need flexible individuals looking for hourly-paid teaching and training roles who want to make a difference in the area of Catering.
To succeed in this role, you will teach, train, and assess students in various learning environments, ensuring a high-quality learning experience. Your role will also include providing support to learners to enable them to achieve their maximum potential and leading as appropriate on designated study programmes and/or courses, with a key responsibility for ensuring the design, delivery, and evaluation of programmes.
Please note that any addition to the approved staffing list is not a guarantee of employment. Once you have been interviewed and all pre-employment checks are in place, you will then be placed within the supply pool of staff available for temporary work.

As a Supply Lecturer at EKC Group, you will be paid £18 per hour worked, and if planning and admin are required, a further half an hour may be claimed per hour of teaching. £135 per day is the rate for 5 hours of teaching with 2.5 hours of planning and admin.
About You
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, creative, and able to plan and teach engaging and innovative lessons with demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Assessing and tracking student progress, to further plan intervention, will be a vital part of the role, ensuring all students develop the skills they need to succeed.
The successful candidate will be able to teach a range of designated study programmes and/or courses from Level 1 up to Level 3 and will be able to motivate learners to achieve and succeed on their programmes of study.
