Job Description

**Project Engineer - Aircraft Seats**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Safran Seats, a world leader in aircraft passenger and crew seats. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in providing technical support, work package collaboration, and project management across a range of Engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. **Project Governance**: Understand and facilitate Time, Cost, and Quality in the Product Development and/or Research and Technology Lifecycle.
  2. **Project Management**: Actively engage and develop in Project Governance and Methods and Tools to complete the project to the contractual and customer requirements.
  3. **Stakeholder Management**: Manage stakeholders from multiple Engineering and non-Engineering disciplines to enable a successful project.
  4. **Project Updates**: Comfortable with project management methods and tools to provide regular updates on progress and support needed to the Engineering management.
  5. **Data Analysis**: Analyze and prioritize data and actions according to business needs.
  6. **Contract Negotiations**: Contribute to contract, funding, and commercial negotiations.
  7. **Product Handover**: Support the product engineering with the handover of technology and transition to the manufacturing process.
  8. **Peer Reviews**: Perform peer reviews of data, analysis, and reports for other team members.
  9. **Certification Compliance**: Ensure product development is compliant to aircraft certification requirements utilizing the expertise of the team.
Requirements
  1. **Project Management Experience**: Experience of project management, methods, and tools.
  2. **Planning and Influencing**: Proven background in planning and influencing project results.
  3. **Communication Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing using the English language, including verbal and written presentations.
  4. **Qualifications**: Qualified with an accredited Degree or equivalent level in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science field.
  5. **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic hands-on approach, including the use of appropriate data handling software.
