Pharmacy Dispenser Role

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Avicenna Holdings Ltd. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our pharmacy by providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense items into compliance aids or monitored dosage systems, when appropriate.
• Check that receipt of prescriptions at the medicines counter has been correctly performed and verify stock availability on acceptance of prescription.
• Provide excellent levels of customer service to all customers to ensure customer needs and requirements are met/exceeded.
• Support the other services as required by the pharmacy and identify opportunities for the Pharmacist Manager, Pharmacist, Relief Pharmacist or Locum.
• Clinically check all prescriptions to avoid possible drug interaction. When interaction is identified, make the RP aware so that the prescriber is contacted.

Requirements:

• Dispensing NVQ Level 2 qualification
• Experience working in retail or customer-focused background
• Caring and confident manner when serving and advising patients
• Excellent attention to detail
