Sanctuary Personnel Ltd has an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Social Worker to join their team in Hertfordshire. As part of the MASH Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safeguarding and promotion of the welfare of disabled children and young people.

Job Description:

This role involves:

  1. ">
  2. Working with cases that align with your skills and experience to safeguard and promote the welfare of disabled children and young people.">
  3. Planning, conducting, reviewing, and evaluating social work practice to achieve desired outcomes.">
  4. Managing risk to individuals and groups by taking responsibility for supervision and support.">
  5. Maintaining accurate knowledge of skills and resources through training and supervision.">
  6. Providing advice to management on community needs and resources.">
  7. Demonstrating professional competence in social work by adhering to current standards and codes of practice.">
  8. Contributing to student assessment and supervision, as well as supporting new staff members through coaching and joint work.">
  9. Collaborating with agencies within the community to support preventative strategies.">
  10. Upholding County Policies on Equal Opportunities and Anti-Racism.">
  11. Performing duties defined by the Director of Children's Services.">

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • ">
  • A social work qualification with registration with Social Work England.">
  • Experience in managing social work caseloads and supervising others.">
  • Knowledge of children's health and social care systems, agencies, and relevant legislation.">
  • A commitment to upholding the HCPC codes of practice.">

Salary and Compensation:

The salary for this position is approximately £42,503 per annum, offering a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for career advancement.
